Objectives
General objective:
The student will acquire knowledge and understand the processes and activities of nuclear fuel management. She/He will develop skills to apply the knowledge acquired to solve and analyze case studies.
Specific objectives of the Course:
The student:
- Will know and understand the main concepts of the processes and activities of the nuclear fuel cycle and in-core fuel management.
- Will develop skills to carry out calculations associated with the different stages of the nuclear fuel cycle to put theoretical notions into practice.
- Will apply the knowledge acquired to solve and analyze situations faced by the person responsible for fuel management at a nuclear power plant.
